The VITA classical A1 – D4 scale is for the safe determination of tooth color.

The colors of the VITA classical scale follow the following grouping:

A1 – A4 (red-brown)
B1 – B4 (red-yellow)
C1 – C4 (gray)
D2 – D4 (red-grey)
